Another week has gone by, and I was oh so happy to see that my coach called for a recovery week!! Though the miles ran were considerably less, the same cant’ be said about the weather. Both rain and humidity I think set some records!

On a brighter note, according to Strava, I ran my 3rd fastest 5k on Tuesday at the Fount Run Club outing. So that was cool! I’ve got a new goal in mind, but I'll save that for a future post.

Workouts & Run Recap: 

  • Mon: Rest Day.
  • Tue: 45mins- was supposed to be easy day.. 3-4 RPE.. but it was also FRC day! Might have gone out a little too quick!?
  • Wed: 30 mins – easy.  Yep. even walked a bit to try to be slower!?
  • Thur: Rest day – Hit the weights! Arms/Chest. Was “good sore” for 2 days!
  • Fri: 30 mins – Really didn’t want to run. Slept like crap.  Prob diet related. Right calf was a little “meh”.
  • Sat : 75 mins – was hot. yucky which did slow me a down just a bit. Tossed in a few walk breaks, but overall okay. right calf still a little tight.
  • Sun: 45 mins – nice and easy day.  RPE 3-4. All good.

Overall Recap:

Not a bad week IMO. 3 weeks out from BRR. Little nervous on that!  Also working on a bunch of new content ideas for this here blog!
